Dulwich Hill Preschool is a legend in the suburb. Everyone seems to have sent their kids there, and if they haven't, it's only because they couldn't get a spot. I know a family who sent their son who is now 17. His teachers were the same teachers my now 7-year-old had. My son adored the centre, the carers, he made so many wonderful friends, and even after having been in school for two years, he still talks of preschool often, and with great fondness. Bonus: If your child ends up going to the local primary school, a lot of their preschool mates will end up there too, making the transition a lot less daunting.
